Vintage Beaded Boots

Just a quick post on these lovely vintage, beaded, suede boots passed onto me from my mom. I recently had them fixed since the heel had completely come off. They're much more appreciated when worn but it's almost impossible in this Texas heat. Oh well, there's always next year!

The Red Door

I found this little vintage number at a local vintage/clothing/photography/art/antiques shop I discovered today. It's called The Red Door and it's a newbie in town. I really liked the floral print since floral is a current spring trend at the moment.

Worn with Vince Camuto taupe booties.

You can see why it's called The Red Door.

They actually have a current sale on their vintage dresses, and every first Friday of the month they have a night sale from 8 pm to 1 am!

I really liked the neon color on this clutch.

Il Fait Froid

I thought I wasn't going to have the opportunity to show you this faux fur Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent coat until next year but I took advantage of the cold front that snuck in this weekend and took a few shots. I was lucky to have snagged it at a quarter of the price. Don't you love it when that happens?

Pense que no iba a tener la oportunidad de mostrarles este abrigo de Twelfth Street por Cynthia Vincent hasta el proximo año pero aproveche que hizo un poco de frío este fin de semana para tomar unas cuantas fotos. Tuve la suerte de encontrarlo a un cuarto del precio original!

Lemon Pepper Tilapia

I meant to take some outfit photos a couple of days ago, but the weather went from feeling like summer back to something with high winds and dust and it just became impossible to take pictures that day. I don't think I could stand posing that long without flying away or getting sand in unwanted places. It looks like it has calm down, although now it's cold again, but I still promise to post outfits soon. 

For now I want to share with you this lemon pepper tilapia filet served with asparagus. It was quick and easy to make and it's also healthy! 

Hace unos días quise tomar fotos de mi atuendo pero el clima se puso super mal. De sentirse como verano cambio para aires fuertes y tierra, así que fue imposible tomar fotos ese día. La verdad no creo poder haber durado posando sin que el aire me llevara o que se me hubiera metido tierra en lugares no requeridos. Pero parece que ya se calmo, aunque otra vez esta frío, pero de todos modos prometo subir fotos pronto.

Por ahora les quiero mostrar este filete de tilapia con limón y pimienta. Fue muy sencillo y fácil de hacer y aparte es saludable!

Feels Like Summer

I think this is the happiest I look in this post but that's only because my eyes are ultra sensitive to light and if I smile too much my eyes sometimes tend to squint so hence why I look like I'm about to beat someone. 

After months of hibernating my legs finally went bare today. Although we're in between winter and spring it already feels like we're onto summer here in Texas.

Creo que esta foto es en la que mas me veo mas feliz hecho a que mis ojos son super sensibles a la luz y a veces cuando sonrío se me cierran un poco mas, pero es por eso que me veo como que estoy a punto de pegarle a alguien. 

Después de meses sin que mis piernas vieran luz, hoy decidi ponerme esta tunica. Aunque ahorita estamos entre el invierno y la primavera ya se siente casi como si fuera verano aquí en Tejas.
