New Look

For a while now I have been wanting a new look, so last week I finally decided to go for bangs. I think bangs can give an edgy chic look and I really like having them during the fall/wintertime when it's not so hot. 

Por un tiempo tenia ganas de un nuevo look asi que por fin la semana pasada me decidi por el fleco. Pienso que el fleco da un look chic y moderno. Me gusta traerlo durante el otoño/invierno ya que no hace tanto calor.

Red Roses and Leopard

This morning I was heading out for school when I noticed some beautiful red roses resting on my windshield. I was very surprised and flattered at the same time and I thought who could have done this sweet deed so early in the morning? Of course I knew they were from JL and I immediately hugged him and thanked him when I saw him. He made me feel loved and special for the rest of the day.

En la mañana que iba saliendo hacia la escuela me di cuenta que avian unas hermosas rosas rojas sobre el tablero de mi camioneta. Me soprendi y me senti adulada a la misma vez y pense quien pudo haber hecho este lindo detalle tan temprano. Claro que de inmediato supe que fueron de JL y en cuanto lo vi lo abraze y le di las gracias. Hizo que me sintiera muy especial y querida el resto del dia.

Fall is Here!

Ever since I left on my trip to China and southeast Asia I've gotten into the terrible habit of not posting anything! I haven't exactly been lazy but I guess you could say a little of that goes into why I haven't. Mostly it's just been my default of bad time management and that I haven't made time to take photographs. With that said, I'm so excited because fall is finally here! I'm hoping the temperatures will begin to cool down a little so it can actually feel like fall. It's been harsh driving around in a black vehicle with no ac in temperatures of 90 degrees and above (don't ask!). I can't wait to actually begin wearing the fall inspired outfits I've been longing for.

Desde que regrese de mi viaje a China y el sur este de Asia he adoptado mal habito de no subir nada de posts! No es que me haya ganado la flojera, aunque esa es una de las minimas razones por las que no es subido nada, pero mas bien ha sido que no he sabido manejar bien mi tiempo y que no me he dado el tiempo para tomar fotos. Pero bueno, con eso dicho, estoy muy emocionada porque ha llegado el otoño! Espero que la temperatura empieze a bajar un poco. Ha sido muy duro tener que manejar en un auto negro sin aire acondicionado en temperaturas de 90 grados o mas. Ya quiero empesar a poder usar el guardaropa inspirado por otoño que tanto espero.

China & southeast Asia

I recently got back from my trip to China and southeast Asia. It was an amazing 45 days I spent with JL and the cultural experience of traveling through seven different countries. Our first stop was China and from there we made our way onto Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. We took over 2,000 photos, but because I cannot post them all at once, I'm only choosing one of my favorites from each country. I will probably be making multiple posts about this trip though so stay tuned!

In exactly five days I will be on my way to Shanghai! I knew this month would fly by so quickly. I'm so excited and I just can't wait! Jl left today but I will soon be catching up. I've finally chosen what I'm going to take and frankly I'm a little worried because it's not too much, but I know I won't be able to stop myself from shopping over there so I'd rather take an empty back pack and return with a full one.

Exactamente dentro de cinco dias ire en camino hacia Shangahi! Sabia que este mes se pasaria volando pero por fin escoji lo que me voy a llevar y la verdad estoy un poco preocupada porque no es mucho. Pero se que voy a querer comprar muchas cosas y prefiero irme con la maleta vacia para regresar con la maleta llena.

In exactly one month I will be on my way to China. I am super excited to go on this awesome adventure with Jl.  It's going to be a little difficult to post regularly, but I will do my best to keep you updated. I have been debating on what to wear over there as it is going to be very hot and humid. I also need to try to not overpack too, but that's always hard when you are going oversees. 

Exactamente en un mes estare en camino a China. Estoy super emocionada por este viaje que hare con Jl. Va ser un poco dificil subir fotos regularmente pero tratare de mantenerlos al tanto lo mas que pueda. He estado pensando en que llevarme para ponerme alla porque hace mucho calor y es muy humedo pero tengo que asegurarme de no empacar de mas aunque siempre es dificil con viajes tan largos.

Lately I've been drawn to transparent, see-through tops; mesh, crochet, lace, etc. Here I'm wearing a white, lacy top I found at Marshall's with C'est Toi jeans and jungle green Jessica Simpson pumps.
