Mini Perfumerie

CI have a small obsession with perfumes. Although my collection is not too big, I'm still proud of it. I like to wear a different scent everyday depending on my mood. Sometimes I like sweet, florals, or maybe a little citrus...it all depends.

My most recent add to the collection was my Gucci Flora fragrance I received from JL this Christmas. I guess my hint worked.


Tengo una mini obsecion con perfumes. Mi colleccion no es muy grande pero aun asi estoy orgullosa de ella.  Me gusta usar uno diferente cada dia dependiendo mi humor. A veces se me antoja dulce, floral, or talvez algo citrico...todo depende.

El perfume mas reciente que agregue a mi coleccion es el de Gucci Flora que me regalo Jl de Navidad. Si funciono mi indirecta.

I went to the Museum of Perfume, Fragonard, while living in Paris and brought back with me this exclusive souvenir. 

It smells a little strong, but the scent with last throughout the entire day. 

Sparkle and Dazzle

This year I really wanted a sparkly, sequence dress to celebrate New Years.  I feel New Years is the best time of the year to go all out and sparkle all over.  Although it was a very relaxed New Years eve, it was a great way to end the year surrounded by friends, a great dinner, and with JL.

Este año quise usar un vestido brilloso con lentejuela para festejar el año nuevo. Yo creo que el año nuevo es el mejor tiempo para brillar. Aunque fue una noche muy tranquila, fue una excelente forma de terminar el año alrededor de amigos, una deliciosa cena y con JL.

I found this dress at Ella Blu and immediately I was attracted to its dazzle and shine.

It was just what I had been looking for and for a perfect prize ($38!).

Snow Snow Snow

Yesterday began as a slightly cooler day that resulted in a much cooler evening with snow!
I don't know what it is about snow, but it always makes me feel warm inside (how ironic). It just looks so fun and romantic. My mom took a few photos, but she was having a hard time keeping the camera dry and not taking blurry shots.

Today we continued to receive snow from the gray skies and I just thought what a wonderful way to end the year. Happy new year everyone!

Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011

 Not only is this going to be the end of a year, but it is also going to be the end of a decade. I was twelve years old when we hit the year 2000 and so much has happened within these past ten years. I am very excited for what the year 2011 brings and I wish everybody an awesome year and beginning of a new decade.

No solo se terminara el año per tambien sera el fin de una decada. Tenia doce años cuando llegamos al año 2000 y tantas cosas han sucedido dentro de estos diez años. Estoy muy emocionada por lo que traera el 2011 y le deseo a todo mundo un muy buen año y principio de decada.

This was a very much anticipated gift from my parents as well. It's a rose gold Michael Kors watch.

A Very Merry Christmas

I love Christmas time, but it comes and goes so fast.

I was fortunate to spend this wonderful holiday with my family, JL, and his family. The food was delicious, the gifts were great, and the company was  all I could have asked for (although I did miss my grandparents). 

I hope you all had very happy holidays!

Me encanta esta temporada Navideña, pero viene y se va muy rapido. 

Fui muy afortunada de pasar la Navidad con mi familia, JL, y su familia. La comida estuvo deliciosa, los regalos increibles, y la compañia fue lo mejor (aunque extrañe a mis abuelos). 

Espero todos hayan pasado de muy felices fiestas!

Biker Chic

 I decided to take a stroll on my dad's scooter today, but I was so nervous to lose balance and fall. I actually did lose my balance though and the scooter fell but I was able to get off before falling with it. A very nice man actually stopped his car to help me pick up the scooter. I just found that to be so nice of him since he was a complete stranger. It's just nice to know there are nice gentlemen out there.

Hoy me di una vuelta en la mini moto de mi papa, pero estaba un poco nerviosa de perder control y caerme. De hecho si perdi el balance y se cayo la moto pero logre bajarme antes de que se cayera. Un señor muy lindo se bajo de su camioneta para ayudarme a recoger la moto. Se me hizo super lindo de su parte porque era todo un desconocido. Se siente muy bien saber que sigue habiendo caballeros.

Night Out Prep

The other night JL and I enjoyed of a night out with friends. It was nice to go out and and appreciate the company of our friends and each other. We took a few pictures before heading out. 

By the way I apologize I haven't been posting lately. With thanksgiving, work, and school the past two weeks have been extremely busy. School is soon to be over though and my focus will be based on family, Christmas shopping, and blogging. 

La otra noche JL y yo disfrutamos de una noche con nuestros amigos. Fue lindo disfrutar de la compañia de ellos y de nosotros. Nos tomamos unas fotos antes de salir. 

Por cierto queria pedir una disculpa por no estar subiendo fotos ultimamente. Estas ultimas dos semanas estuve muy ocupada con el dia de gracias, el trabajo, y la escuela. Pero se acercan las vacaciones y pronto solo estare enfocada en mi familia, compras navideñas, y mi blog.
