Halloween Costumes

Yesterday was Halloween and I didn't get to plan out my costume like I would have liked. Like every other year I left it all last minute and I was unable to find an ADULT Princess Jasmine costume. I tried on the kid's large, and although the pants fit okay, the shirt was way too tight. Oh well... there's always next year! Instead I ended up with sexy fireman since it was all I could find in my size. I did not take many pictures, but I thought I would at least show one of my costume.

My friend Sarah was Raphael from the Ninja Turtles. She made her own shell! I           thought it was so cute and hilarious.

Leslie was Dia de Los Muertos. The paint job was amazing! It took about three hours.

Leggings from Ella Blu

Tonight was a little more chilly than most nights and I get excited to think I can finally begin wearing my fall clothes. I know I keep referring to the weather but that just shows how much I really want to wear my boots, tights, coats, jackets, and all the cold weather glam essentials.

But for now I have to enjoy 'right now' and just be appreciative of what I can wear. There is always a perfect ensemble for the weather. For example these awesome semi tie dye leggings. This time I paired them with my suede lace ups but next time it will probably be with booties.

By the way I want to apologize if some of the photos are a little blurry. My dad was having some difficulty taking the photos in the dark at first but I posted them anyway because I kind of liked the effect. I hope this doesn't affect you reading my blog!

Suede lace ups are by Bronx. I want to keep wearing them, but I wonder how they would look with tights, what do you guys think?

Please excuse the silly hair on my face.

Awww I love this little guy. I've decided to call him Penguinit!

Perfect Knee High Socks

I just recently went to Forever 21 where they have an awesome variety of tights and over the knee socks, which was exactly what I was looking for. I found these ivory knee socks and I was so excited to finally be able to wear them over the weekend. Looks like the temperatures have finally started to drop a little. I can't wait to actually start wearing tights. I want all styles and colors!

Biker boots are Guess by Marciano.
Skirt and belt are from Zara, one of my favorite places to shop.

À la Mode

I know recently I have not been updating as often as I would like, but these past couple of weeks have been a little hectic with work, school, family, and friends. Anyways I really wanted to show off my suede Bronx lace ups. Besides being amazingly comfortable they make any outfit I pair them with look very à la mode.

Beautiful turquoise necklace was a gift from my boyfriend from Zimbabwe.
Waist skirt is from Urban Outfitters.
Turquoise/tan ring is from The Limited.
Suede lace ups are by Bronx. I saw these shoes for the first time and decided not to get them, but a week later I went right back to get them.

Newbies

The following photographs are introductions of what I have brought into my wardrobe, but have not had time to post. Real life sometimes gets in the way, but I promise I won't go so long without posting!

Dress is by Miss Me Couture. I love the thin, cotton material on this dress because it accommodates to your figure and I also thought the color was very rococo like; a color that reminded me of the georgian time period.

Blouse found at Maxmina for a fabulous price.

This bag is actually purple but the lighting makes it look blue.

Shoes are Gianni Bini.

Lately I've been in want for big, chunky necklaces, so when I saw this at Trend Society, I had to have it.
